A SMALL WHITE JADE MONKEY AND PEACH GROUP, China, Qing dynasty, 19th century

The group depicts a large monkey with its globular eyes and pointed nose. 

At its feet a juvenile ape is grasping onto a basket with a tall arched handle. Both monkeys 

are shown grasping a peach branch.
