FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN VASE, China, second half of 20th century

In the form of a balustrade column, on a turquoise ground, it is well painted in famille rose enamels and modelled with two reserves in which women in gardens are depicted; on the neck, the reserves and the foot there are floral motifs in gold. In the centre of the base is the apocryphal four-character square mark in overglaze blue of the Qianlong Emperor.
