CORAL GROUND PORCELAIN 'SHOU' BOWL, China, dated 1907

h. 8.3 cm x d. 17 cm

With a coral red ground, it is decorated throughout with gilded Shou symbols, the decoration is enclosed by two blue bands, one near the ruyi-shaped rim and one above the foot; in the centre of the base it bears the six-character iron red mark of the Emperor Guangxu.
