PAIR OF POEDER BLUE FAMILLE VERTE DISHES, China, Kangxi period (1661-1722)

Well decorated on a 'powder blue' (soufflé) ground in the famille verte enamels, with four reserves on the rim with flowers, insects and birds and a central medallion depicting a lion; on the reverse are two flowering branches in iron red.
