A LANGYAO MEIPING, China, late 18th/early 19th century

With an elegant and sinuous classic meiping shape, it rests on a flat ring foot and is completely covered, with the exception of the foot, with a beautiful deep red enamel that on the narrow mouth fades to white; the centre of the base has a white enamel.
