A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF SHADAKSHARI LOKESHVARA, Tibet, 17th century

Cast with four arms, is seated in vajraparyankasana on a double-lotus base, with the two principal hands in anjali mudra; in the right hand holds an aksasutra, and in the left, a padma. On the shoulders bears a ren shou (animal of mercy).
