Octagonal in section, with a raised foot, globular body, and long flaring neck; finely painted on a sgraffito ground of waves with a five-clawed dragon and a phoenix chasing each other. The neck, framed by bands of honeycomb patterns, floral panels, and stylized petals, features a flaming pearl; at the center of the base is an apocryphal six-character iron-red and gilt mark of the Emperor Guangxu, supported by two five-clawed dragons pursuing the pearl.
