A PAIR OF CLOISONNÉ VASES, China, Qing dynasty, late 19th century

Well-molded in the shape of a double gourd with a ribbon cinched at the waist forming two bows, they are finely decorated with the "millefleurs" pattern; at the center of the base, they bear the apocryphal four-character mark of the Qianlong Emperor. Wirth their wooden stands.
