A SMALL DOUCAI PORCELAIN DISH, China, Qing dynasty, Kangxi period (1661-1722)

With rounded sides resting on a slightly tapered foot, the center of the interior features a pomegranate shrub with three red fruits growing from a rock; the inner rim is decorated with branches bearing vine fruits, prunus, and pomegranate, all enclosed between double lines; the lower exterior displays branches with prunus fruits; at the center of the base, it bears the apocryphal six-character mark of the Chenghua Emperor in underglaze blue within a double circle.
