A 'BENJARONG' 'BODHISATTVA' EXPORT PORCELAIN BOWL, China for the Kingdom of Siam, 19th century

With strongly rounded sides rising from a low ring foot to a flared rim, the exterior is decorated with alternating figures of Norasingh and Thepanom angels amid scrolling foliage left in reserve on a black ground. The interior is glazed green with a central medallion, while the rim features floral bands.
