The cartouche-shaped tray, with a raised rim, is finely decorated with a scene depicting a dignitary overseeing laborers within a tree-lined garden adorned with pagodas. It rests on elegantly carved scroll legs joined by a sculpted stretcher; the splayed legs terminate in foliate-carved hoof feet.
