The service, made for the English market, comprises a large twin-handled tray with handles and rim modelled in imitation of bamboo canes, finely hammered and chased with bamboo motifs across the entire surface. The milk jug, coffee pot, teapot, and sugar bowl, cast and shaped, feature an elegant chased and engraved decoration echoing that of the tray. Each piece bears the maker’s mark of the silversmith Zee Sung. Total weight 3,640 g.
