Oval and domed in shape, it rests on four scroll-shaped feet. The surface is finely embossed and chiselled with diamond-point and leaf-scroll motifs; the lid, which echoes the decoration of the body, is topped by a spherical knob (no hallmark appears to be present). Weight: 976 g.
