In stained wood, walnut and vellum, inlaid with repoussé copper, bone and pewter.
The rectangular top, enclosed on three sides by a balustrade, contains a central open compartment flanked by six small drawers; below is a writing surface in painted vellum decorated with a parrot among floral motifs, and a triangular frieze drawer.
The chair features a back with a suspended circular element and a rectangular seat with painted vellum, both decorated with geometric inlay and applied repoussé and pierced copper.
