A CELADON JADE TRIPOD-CENSER, China, Qing dynasty, possibly Qianlong

Finely carved and sculpted, the globular body with an everted rim is supported on three high hollow feet emerging from the mouths of finely carved lion heads; on the sides are two tall rectangular pierced handles; it rests on its wooden stand and bears a provenance label on the base.
