The body is decorated with a central band, enclosed by stylised leaves in puce enamel, depicting bajixiang interspersed with reserves containing floral motifs and landscapes. The base bears an apocryphal six-character overglaze red Guangxu Emperor mark; it is pierced with two drainage holes.
