A HUANGHUALI AND HARDWOOD BUREAU CABINET, China, Qing dynasty, late 18th century

It rests on four bracket feet; the lower section in the form of a chest of drawers with a drop-front flap and pull-out supports, and an interior fitted with drawers of various sizes, some marked with Chinese characters; above are six drawers, each fitted with two ruyi-form handles. The upper section has two finely carved doors with floral motifs, opening to reveal multiple compartments, all beneath an upper cornice shaped as a ruyi scroll and carved with floral decoration.

黄花梨/硬木洛可可风格秘书柜，它由四个托脚支撑；下部呈五斗柜状，带有翻盖和拉出式支撑架，内部设有大小不一的抽屉，部分抽屉底下刻有汉字；内部有多个秘密暗格，每个抽屉都配有两个如意形把手。上部有两个精雕细琢的门，门上饰有花卉图案，打开后可见多个隔间，所有隔间上方均饰有如意卷轴形檐口，洛可可风格山墙式顶饰，通体满雕缠枝花卉纹，卷草与花朵层次分明，雕工精湛，尽显贵族气派。顶级材质，满雕花卉纹，功能齐全，古典家具收藏的臻品之选。
