It is finely painted with two large central lobed reserves on the body enclosing scenes of flowers and birds; on the sides are four smaller fruit-shaped reserves, as well as on the neck, all similarly decorated with flowers and birds, on a dense ground of luxuriant blossoms; the centre of the base bears an impressed apocryphal Kangxi Emperor mark in red.
