A PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE BALUSTER-SHAPED PORCELAIN VASES, China, 20th century

Of baluster-column form, they are finely decorated on the body with rabbits in a flowering garden between a trailing border descending from the rim and a key-fret band at the foot in overglaze blue; they bear inscriptions; the centre of the base bears an apocryphal overglaze blue Qianlong Emperor mark within a double square.
