The panels are enriched with bone inlays depicting Buddhist objects and stylized clouds. Each panel is divided into three sections containing objects from Chinese tradition in hardstone and jade. The reverse of each panel is gilded and decorated with naturalistic scenes, featuring floral motifs and birds.
