Rectangular in shape, it is embellished with slender light-coloured wooden mouldings and panels carved in bas-relief depicting seascapes. The lid features, in the centre, a female figure reclining in a natural landscape, with her head resting on her hand and her body partially draped in a large, flowing cloth.
