l cm 210 x h cm 185 x w cm 155

A wrought-iron double bed, painted and partially gilded, characterised by an ornamental framework featuring volutes, curls and stylised plant motifs. The headboard is embellished with gilded friezes depicting fantastical figures, shell-like elements and polychrome painted panels, portraying a romantic scene with cupids and, at the very top, a floral arrangement in a vase. The footboard echoes the same decorative repertoire, with a central medallion depicting a landscape featuring architecture and figures, enclosed within a gilded frame with rocaille motifs. The side posts are topped with spherical knobs and turned feet.
