It is shaped like the letter ‘D’, with two hinged side doors. Inside, there are three icons painted on a gold background: in the centre, the Madonna of Kazan with the Child; on the left, an archangel with a sword and shield; and on the right, a martyr saint in military attire. The reverse bears a dedicatory inscription in Cyrillic script, dated 1894. Weight g 101.
