A collection of Old Master and historical prints bringing together works by some of the most prominent figures in the history of art and printmaking. Particular emphasis is placed on a substantial selection of prints by Francisco Goya, alongside works by Giovanni Battista Piranesi, Honoré Daumier, Katsushika Hokusai, Salvator Rosa, Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, the Carracci and Lucas Cranach the Elder. Spanning different periods, schools and artistic traditions, the collection reflects the diversity of printmaking techniques and artistic expression, from European to Japanese traditions.
