A PORCELAIN GINGER JAR, China, late 19th century / early 20th century

On an orange ground, it is decorated in underglaze blue with birds among rocks and flowers, nearby the rim there is a turquoise overglaze band and a blue underglaze band; at the center of the base, it features a double circle in underglaze blue.
