A FINELY CARVED WHITE JADE VASE AND COVER, China, 20th century

The vase of elegant form is carved with a total of six handles, suspending a single ringlet. Four of the handles are of foliate design. To the shoulders of the squat form globular body a pair of mythical beast heads form the handles.
