A LAQUER WOOD SCREEN, China, Qing dynasty, 18th / 19th century

Probably Cantonese, it is formed by five panels and two sections, it is well painted in the upper one with a court scene with knights, warriors, ladies, dignitaries and children between houses and trees; in the lower one flowers, plants, birds and inscriptions are depicted.
