A BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN JARDINIERE, China, Qing dynasty, 18th century

Well painted in underglaze blue, the exterior is decorated with lotus scrolls and curling leaves, while a band of stylized banana leaves adorns the area near the foot. A drainage hole is present at the center of the base.
