A prestigious Louis XVI-style console clock in black and white marble, made in Paris, circa 1780. It features an original 18th-century chain-driven movement, an enamel dial, and a mechanism with hour and half-hour striking, as well as a 30-day calendar. The case is adorned with finely chiselled appliqués featuring garlands, capitals and bas-reliefs in mercury-gilded bronze.
