A Louis XVI-era pendulum clock, signed Imbert Lainè, featuring a complex calendar mechanism. The dial is painted in two colours and features four hands indicating the hours, days of the week and days of the month. The movement includes a striking mechanism for the hours and half-hours. The case is made of mercury-gilded bronze, set on a base of white Carrara marble.
