White marble case with obelisks and lion motifs in mercury-gilded bronze. The clock is crowned by a bisque statue of Cupid at the centre. Porcelain dial signed Regnault, with a mechanism that chimes on the hour and half-hour. Silk-thread pendulum with a sun-shaped lens.
