It is finely painted on the body with two large circular reserves depicting naturalistic landscapes with mountains, pagodas, trees, and fishermen in famille rose enamels, around which five-clawed dragons fly among swirling clouds and foaming waves; the centre of the base bears an apocryphal six-character seal mark of the Qianlong Emperor in underglaze blue.
