Shipping Information

Marcopolo Asian Art does not carry out any shipping or packaging service. If requested, the service can be entrusted to an external shipping agency that has an agreement with the Auction House, Mail Boxes Etc. 0371 with headquarters in Sarzana (SP), Via XX Settembre, 65; the buyer will have a direct relationship with the agency, including the issuing of the invoice that includes the costs of administration, packaging, labour, shipping and insurance. Simply send the adjudicated lot number to their email (mbe371@mbe.it) and Mail Boxes 0371 will provide an estimate. Alternatively, the customer may use a forwarding agent of his choice and arrange collection as long as the lots are collected no later than 8 January 2024. After this deadline, if the customer does not communicate otherwise, the lots shall be transferred to the warehouse of the aforementioned forwarding agent. Therefore, any communication regarding withdrawals after 8 January 2024 must be undertaken with Mail Boxes Etc. 0371. From the moment the lots are handed over to the forwarding agent, the auction house will not assume any responsibility for them.

Shipping will be entirely at the customer's expense and it is not excluded that the forwarding agent in charge may charge additional storage costs.

Marcopolo Asian Art will not carry out the paperwork for the free movement certificates and assumes no responsibility for the issuance of the free export permit (ALC) and therefore the initiation of any paperwork will in any case be subsequent to the payment of the lot in question. For this service, an estimate for the necessary paperwork can be requested from Mail Boxes Etc. 0371.
